Two people died as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack on the Tserkovny farm in the Belgorod region, reports the regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
According to him, the drone attacked a car in which there was a young married couple. They died in the burning car before the ambulance arrived, Gladkov claims.
On the afternoon of July 17, drones attacked four more settlements in the Belgorod region — the villages of Borki, Novopetrovka, Kozinka and Bezymeno. In Novopetrovka, the gas supply line was damaged, leaving residents of this village, as well as Karabanovo and the Babka farm, without gas. Private houses were damaged in Kozinka and Bezymyano.
Gladkov also reported about the shelling of the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, as a result of which a man received a shrapnel wound to his neck and was hospitalized. Four cars were hit by shrapnel, one car and one garage were destroyed, the governor writes. In seven houses, windows were broken, roofs and fences were damaged.
The acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov, also reports about drone attacks. In the morning, in the village of Novoivanovka, drones attacked a truck, its driver was wounded, the official writes. In the same locality, two workers of an agricultural enterprise were injured. At about 18:00 Moscow time, Smirnov wrote about another attack — on the village of Lyubimovka. There's a woman wounded there. During the repeated attack on Novoivanovka, the driver of the car was injured, Smirnov added.
On the morning of July 17, the Ministry of Defense reported that during the night air defense systems shot down five Ukrainian drones in four regions. Then Smirnov talked about an injured rescuer in the village of Tetkino, who was in the fire department building.
