MOSCOW, July 18 The Russian team remained in 33rd place place in the International Football Federation (FIFA) ranking, an updated version of which is published on the organization’s official website.
The Russian national team has 1,506.58 points remaining. Valery Karpin's team has not taken the field since June 7, when they defeated the Belarusians in a friendly match in Moscow with a score of 4:0.
The current world champions, the Argentines, retain the leadership in the ranking (1901.48 points). The French are in second place (1854.91); the Spanish team, who won the European Championship, rose to third position (1835.67).
The Colombian team returned to the top 10 for the first time since October 2020, having reached America's Cup final. The Colombians ousted the Croats from the top ten.

In February 2022, FIFA and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) suspended Russian national teams and clubs from participation in international competitions for an indefinite period from -for the events in Ukraine. In the fall of 2023, the organizations clarified that the sanctions will not be lifted until the completion of the SVO.
