NIZHNY NOVGOROD, July 17 Head of the capital of Mordovia Saransk Igor Asabin resigned early of his own free will, the city administration reports on its Telegram channel.
“On July 17, at the 38th session of the Council of Deputies of the Saransk City District of the seventh convocation, the head of the Saransk City District, Igor Yuryevich Asabin, resigned early at his own request,” the city administration reported.
The reasons for the early resignation are not reported.
It is noted that Vladimir Bykov, director of the construction department, has been appointed acting head of Saransk.
Asabin was elected head of Saransk on December 29, 2021.
