
SOCHI, July 19 A substation fire occurred in the Central district of Sochi, reported the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory.
According to some eyewitnesses, the fire occurred on Young Lenintsev Street, in the city center.

“The substation caught fire,” the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations told reporters when asked about the fire on Young Lenintsev Street.
It is clarified that firefighters are working at the scene. 
As the press service of Sochi Electric Networks reported, the substation that is on fire does not belong to their enterprise.
«The transformer substation is not on the balance sheet of Sochi Electric Networks. The power facility is a consumer (private) one. Responsibility for the maintenance of the power facility lies entirely on the shoulders of the owners,» said the agency's interlocutor.
