MOSCOW, July 19 Residents of the US state of Alaska are unable to call emergency services due to a major local communications failure, local TV channel News Center Fairbanks reported.
«There is currently a widespread communication outage impacting customers' ability to call 911 and other non-emergency numbers,» the statement said.
The station advised Alaskans to use their email if they need to contact emergency services until phone service is restored.
