MOSCOW, July 19 English football club «West Ham» is in talks with Saudi Arabian Al-Ittihad to buy midfielder N'Golo Kante, The Guardian reports.
According to the source, both parties are ready to conclude a deal, which is estimated at 20 million pounds (about 24 million euros). The initiator of the acquisition of Kante is West Ham head coach Julen Lopetegui, a longtime admirer of the talent of the former London Chelsea player.
World Cup winner with France Kante moved to Saudi Arabia in 2023 after seven years at Chelsea, where he won the English Championship, FA Cup and UEFA Super Cup, as well as the Europa League, Champions League and Club Cup World Championship. Previously, the Frenchman played for the English Leicester, where he won the English championship, and the French Caen and Boulogne.
