MOSCOW, July 21 Over the past 24 hours, 60 natural fires covering an area of over 35 hectares have been extinguished throughout Russia, Avialesookhrana reported.

"In 16 regions of Russia, forest fire services and involved persons extinguished 60 forest fires on an area of 35,074 hectares covered by fire," the press release says.
By midnight on July 20, 127 forest fires were active in Russia on an area of 352.9 thousand hectares. They were actively extinguished.
