MOSCOW, July 20 The Ministry of Energy held off-site meetings on the functioning and development of the fuel and energy complex in the DPR and LPR, where, among other things, the issue of payments and repayment was discussed wage arrears to coal industry workers, the ministry said in a statement.
“During working meetings with representatives of regional governments, topical issues of the development of the fuel and energy complex of the republics were discussed. In particular, payments and repayment of wage arrears to employees of coal mining enterprises,” the message notes.
The meeting also discussed restoration work at distribution infrastructure facilities and the formation of an emergency reserve in the republics.
The meeting also considered measures to quickly eliminate the consequences of emergency situations on regional distribution networks caused by weather events, the formation of an emergency reserve, the purchase of power transformers and special equipment for restoration work.
«The main task is to create conditions for the stable development of the fuel and energy complex of the republics. The construction sites of 35-110 kV power grid facilities in individual regions have been identified,» the Ministry of Energy said.
Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that the government would allocate funds to support energy in new regions.
