TEHRAN, July 22 Coldness in relations between Iran and Europe — The result of miscalculations by the European side, succumbing to pressure from the United States, the independence of Europe's views could improve its relations with Tehran, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani told Nour News during a weekly press conference.
«»The coldness of relations, in other words, the failure to properly use the potential that exists in bilateral relations, is not the result of Iran's approach, but the result of European miscalculations or (its — ed.) submission to the pressure of incorrect government policies USA,» Kanaani said.
Kanaani stressed that if Europe maintains independent views and focuses on its national interests in relations with Iran, then relations between Tehran and European countries will improve.
