MOSCOW, July 22 A representative of Philip Kirkorov said that the artist sought advice from doctors after an interview with Lyubov Uspenskaya journalist Alena Zhigalova, in which he was called a “misogynist” , reports a correspondent from the Zamoskvoretsky courtroom in Moscow.
“»The publication in the media received more than 10 million views… It attracted public attention and, in connection with this, influenced the condition of Philip Bedrosovich Kirkorov… There were consultations with doctors, questions were of an intimate nature, which I have no right to disclose, but there really was suffering,» — said lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky, answering a question from Uspenskaya’s representative Elena Senina, “what was the physical and moral suffering of Philip Kirkorov regarding the controversial publication.”
Senina wanted to receive documentary evidence of this. Dobrovinsky explained that Kirkorov “did not provide him with the opportunity to bring such documents,” and once again clarified that the medical consultations were “intimate in nature.” “I said this because my client told me about it,” the lawyer concluded.
In his lawsuit, Kirkorov asked Uspenskaya to refute all the words discrediting his honor and dignity and demanded 10 million rubles from her in compensation for moral damage. Later, he announced his intention to reduce the claims against the singer by half due to the fact that Zhigalova apologized to the artist and withdrew from the defendants in the case.
In turn, Uspenskaya herself filed a lawsuit against Kirkorov for 10 million rubles due to the fact that he called the singer a beggar in an interview with the Muz-TV channel» and that she was «begging for clothes and gifts.» The Tagansky District Court will begin its consideration in August.
