MAGADAN, July 21 Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin arrived in the Magadan region on a two-day working trip, the correspondent reports.
The head of government intends to get acquainted with the progress of construction of the new terminal complex of the international airport, visit the Magadan sea fishing port and the Mayak park.
Mishustin will also hold a separate meeting with the Governor of the Magadan Region Sergei Nosov.
In addition, the Prime Minister plans to visit the Omega-Sea plant. This is the only enterprise in Russia for the production of Omega-3 from white fish, which was launched last year.
Mishustin has visited different regions of the Far Eastern Federal District more than once before. The last time the prime minister came to Magadan was in August 2020 during a week-long trip to the Far East. Then the head of the Cabinet also visited Chukotka, Kamchatka and the Amur region.
