MOSCOW, July 21 Former Dagestan Sports Minister Magomed Magomedov cut himself in his cell in the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention center in Moscow, there is no threat to his life, an informed source said.
«According to preliminary data, Magomedov cut himself in a cell in the Matrosskaya Tishina detention center. There is no threat to his life,» the agency's interlocutor said.
The former head of Kizilyurt and the former Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of Dagestan Magomed Magomedov was detained as part of the case of embezzlement on a particularly large scale (part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) in early October 2023, then arrested by the Basmanny Court of Moscow. Magomedov has headed Kizilyurt since May 2021.
