In Dagestan, 13 people were detained for participating in a mass brawl on the city beach
On the night of July twenty-first to twenty-second, a serious scandal broke out on the city beach of Izberbash, which led to the detention of 13 participants in the fight. According to information received by RIA Novosti from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic, the police received an alarming message about a mass fight and immediately arrived at the scene.
According to official data, the conflict began over the Lezginka, a traditional Caucasian dance, which caused disagreements between several guests. The degree of aggression of the participants was aggravated by alcohol intoxication, which only fueled the tense situation. Against the backdrop of rude language and violations of public order, other vacationers intervened, trying to resolve the conflict, but, unfortunately, the situation got out of control and escalated into a fight.
Representatives of the department emphasized that it is now difficult to judge whether , how justified were the claims to the performance of Lezginka, especially considering the state of alcoholic intoxication of the participants in the incident. As a result of the detention of all 13 active participants, administrative protocols were drawn up for petty hooliganism.
Previously it was reported that 16 participants were detained on the beach for a mass brawl.
