Two people detained in Moscow in connection with illegal migration case
Two people suspected of resettling dozens of illegal migrants in the apartments of deceased Muscovites have been detained in the capital, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported.
It is specified that the organizer and member of the criminal group have been detained.
According to the investigation, the defendants acted as part of an organized group for the purpose of personal enrichment.
The perpetrators, as noted, resettled illegal migrants in more than 150 apartments, the owners of which have died.
As part of the criminal cases, searches were conducted in the homes of the suspects. Documentation indicating their involvement in the crimes was found and seized. The defendants will be charged in the near future.
