MOSCOW, July 23 Danish midfielder of English Tottenham Hotspur Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has joined French football club Marseille on loan, the official website of the French team reports.
The 28-year-old Dane's loan is until the end of the 2024/25 season with the right to buy.
Hojbjerg has been playing for Tottenham since August 2020, and his agreement with Spurs also runs until the end of the 2024/25 season. During his career, he played for Danish Copenhagen and Brondby, German Augsburg, Bayern and Schalke, and English Southampton.
In the 2023/24 season, the midfielder took part in 39 matches in all tournaments and did not score. He also has 81 matches for the Danish national team and scored 10 goals. At the 2024 European Championship, his team reached the 1/8 finals of the tournament, where they lost to the German national team. The footballer himself played four matches and did not score.
