MOSCOW, July 22 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law that allows for the possibility of representative bodies to participate in the formation of local administrations to be enshrined in the charters of municipalities. The corresponding document is posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
The law provides for the possibility of enshrining in the charter of a municipal formation in accordance with the law of a subject of the Russian Federation the right of the representative body of a municipal formation to participate in the formation of the local administration, including in approving or coordinating the appointment of deputy heads of the local administration, heads of sectoral and territorial bodies of the local administration .
The explanatory note noted that the law was developed in order to improve the mechanisms of interaction between the representative body of the municipality and the local administration.
