A childhood friend spoke about the life and plans of MotoTanya
On July 23, sad news spread across the Internet: a biker and blogger with a million audience Tatyana Ozolina, known under the nickname “MotoTanya,” crashed in Turkey. As Turkish media wrote, the accident occurred on the Milas-Seke highway. Tatyana lost control and fell under the wheels of the truck. The girl left behind a 13-year-old son in Moscow. Officially, she was a single mother. About the love of speed and MK motorcycles talked to a childhood friend of the deceased road tamer.
“Tatyana was born in the city of Tara, Omsk region,” recalls friend Natalya Ponomareva. “Since childhood, she was very kind, generous and charismatic. She could captivate me with anything. I remember when she was ten years old, she was interested in dancing, but dancing herself was not enough for her — she gathered all the children in the clearing and taught them to dance. She showed them the moves, made them do the splits… If someone didn’t come, she came home and took them to lessons. That is, from the very beginning she was a talented organizer and a responsive person. This was later useful to her in her blogs.
— Around the age of 20. She bought a motorcycle secretly from her parents. Mom and dad were categorically against it. As if they had a presentiment of trouble.
— There have always been motorcycles in her family. Dad rode and so did grandpa. I remember they had an Izh Jupiter-5. Apparently, Tanya inherited love.
— Of course. There was no end to the guys. Of course, she has a chiseled figure, face, style. She watched this very closely.
— No, some local guy. They did not live long in Tara. Then Tanya took her son and left for Moscow.
— Her mother came to Moscow. Or they took their son to Tara. I think that after the tragedy the child will be taken away forever.
— Tanya drove a motorcycle perfectly. Now she is being criticized online for her stunts. Allegedly, she took risks while driving, did everything for the sake of likes. No. Even when performing her stunts for the commercials, she was in control of the situation. It's like when you ride a bicycle, you know where you can ride with one hand and where you can ride without any hands at all. So is she. And in the case of the accident, I don’t believe that Tanya lost control. It seems to me a more plausible version that the second biker crashed into her, pushing her under the wheels of a truck.
— I think so. She bought an apartment in Moscow. But in addition to the money for the channels, she also had a permanent job — she ran a retail chain. She combined work with traveling around the world. She had long wanted to go to Turkey. She planned it back in 2019, but it only happened this summer. She was so looking forward to this season. I can't believe that Tanya is gone. We were going to hug next year when Tanya comes to her native Tara. Never met.
— Very rarely.
“I've been in Turkey since yesterday evening and I'm planning to travel around the whole country,” MotoTanya wrote in her blog shortly before the accident. She was traveling in the company of two bikers, one of whom was a local resident, Onur Obat. According to the latest information, he was the cause of the accident. Tatyana Ozolina's motorcycle slowed down on the road. Onur didn't notice it and “butted” the rear wheel of Tatyana's motorcycle.
The girl died before the ambulance arrived. According to eyewitnesses, after the accident, MotoTanya got to her feet and walked a few meters to the motorcycle, but then fell. The cause of the Russian woman's death was a neck injury. The culprit of the accident is also in the hospital. Onur Obata has a broken leg.
