A criminal case was opened against the co-owner of the Zelensky estate
Ukrainian authorities have opened a criminal case against the historical Zelensky estate, which was illegally demolished on his instructions. This is stated in the Telegram channel of the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
“The co-owner of the Zelensky estate, who gave instructions for its demolition, has been charged with suspicion (in Russian terminology — “a criminal case has been opened” — Note),” — the report says.
It was clarified that the actions of the co-owner of the estate were classified as deliberate destruction of property, which was seized by the court.
The name of the suspect is not named. He hired a construction company and let its employees demolish the estate.
In addition, it is reported that the issue of bringing criminal charges against other persons involved in the demolition of the building is being decided.
The estate was built in 1890 and was located on Alexander Konissky Street in the center of the Ukrainian capital. The building was demolished four days ago using construction equipment.
