Shot: Turkish motorcyclist Obut may be imprisoned for the murder of MotoTani through negligence
Turkish biker and blogger Onur Obut, who was involved in an accident near Bodrum, in which Russian blogger MotoTanya (Tatyana Ozolina) died, faces criminal prosecution in his homeland.< /p>
It was previously reported that a Russian woman died after crashing into a road fence. According to preliminary data, Obut, who was driving nearby, collided with her motorcycle, and both flew into the fence. MotoTanya died on the spot, Obut was hospitalized with serious injuries.
As Shot writes, citing local lawyers, Obut may be charged with negligent homicide, in accordance with the Turkish Criminal Code. Under this article, the maximum penalty is 6 years in prison. At the same time, Shot’s interlocutors believe that in this situation the court will impose a minimum sentence of 2 years of probation. If there are no violations of the law in the next 5 years, the criminal record will be expunged.
It is reported that at the moment the body of the deceased motorcycle blogger has been taken to the morgue of the Institute of Forensic Medicine in the city of Mugla.
