MOSCOW, July 22 Singer Lyubov Uspenskaya, commenting on the court decision on the 10-million dollar claim of Philip Kirkorov against her, noted with sarcasm that the court assessed the moral damage caused to the singer the damage is only 70 thousand rubles.
The reason for filing a 10-million-dollar defamation claim with the Zamoskvoretsky Court in Moscow was an interview with Uspenskaya journalist Alena Zhigalova, in which Kirkorov was called a “misogynist.” On Monday, the court ordered the singer to refute the defamatory information in the interview and collected from her about 280 thousand rubles: 70 thousand in compensation for moral damage, 85 thousand expenses for the services of a representative, 120 thousand expenses for notarial provision of evidence and almost 6 thousand for state fees and postal expenses.

"Today the court assessed the "honor and dignity" Kirkorov for 70 thousand rubles… He asked me for 10 million for his “suffering”… And I said that you don’t need to mess with me,” Uspenskaya wrote on Instagram*, inviting her opponent to take back what was awarded in small change.
< br />Uspenskaya herself previously filed a lawsuit against Kirkorov for 10 million rubles due to the fact that he called the singer a “beggar” in an interview with the Muz-TV channel. The Tagansky District Court will begin its consideration in August.
