NIZHNY NOVGOROD, July 24 Four people died in a collision between two cars in Chuvashia, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.
The accident occurred on Wednesday at about 15.10 (Moscow time) on the A-151 highway in the Kanashsky district.
“»Renault and Chevrolet cars collided. In the Chevrolet, 4 people died from their injuries at the scene. In addition, a woman and a child, born in 2013, passengers of the Renault, were taken to a medical facility,» the report says.
The Kanash Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office took control of the progress of the investigation into an accident with fatalities. “According to preliminary information, the driver of a Chevrolet with 4 passengers in the cabin, while braking in front of the car in front, lost control and drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Renault car,” reports the prosecutor’s office of Chuvashia. It is also noted that among the passengers of both cars there were minors.
