OMSK, July 24Specially trained dogs picked up the trail of a 15-year-old schoolgirl from Moscow who disappeared in Omsk and led her to the Irtysh River, the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
Volunteers and police officers continue the search for the missing 15-year-old schoolgirl Evangelina Aleshkina, who came to Omsk from Moscow with her parents. The family settled in the Nika Hotel, located in Victory Park in Omsk. After on July 22, before her entire family flew to the capital, the girl went for a walk in the park alone, no one saw her. Then the search for her began. The girl’s mother and her second daughter flew to Moscow. Evangelina's father remained in Omsk.
“The search for Evangelina Aleshkina continues. Police officers and the Russian National Guard, together with volunteers from the Dobrospas and LisaAlert detachments, are again checking the forest area of Victory Park using specially trained dogs, inspecting the river bank. One of the dogs picked up the trail of Evangelina’s belongings and led to the Irtysh “Divers are being used to check the river bottom,” the press service said.
Previously, a UAV was used for searches. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Omsk Region opened a criminal case into the disappearance of a schoolgirl. The progress of the criminal investigation is under the control of the prosecutor's office of the Omsk region.
Signs of a teenager: he appears to be 15–17 years old, height — 170–175 cm, brown eyes and dark hair below the shoulders. She left the hotel in gray wide jeans, a T-shirt with a bear image and sneakers. The girl had a black shoulder bag and a dark blue backpack with her.
