MOSCOW, July 24 St. Petersburg Zenit plans to increase its offer for the Brazilian Palmeiras footballer Rafael Veiga is up to 25-27 million euros, reports insider Ekrem Konur on the social network X.
Earlier, the Goal portal reported that Palmeiras rejected Zenit's offer for Veiga in the amount of 20 million euros. The Brazilian club intends to retain the 29-year-old midfielder until the 2025 Club World Cup.
Veiga has been playing for Palmeiras since January 2017, his current agreement with the club runs until the end of 2026.
In the 2023/24 season, he played 36 matches in various tournaments, scored 11 goals and provided seven assists. The player's value, according to the Transfermarkt portal, is estimated at 16 million euros.
