The Exeed brand (owned by Chery) last year announced the creation of a new line that is designed for electric models. In the home market the line was given the name Sterra, and for export markets the name Exlantix was chosen. Let us recall that it was initially reported that in the Russian Federation (the first export for the sub-brand) these new products will appear as the Exeed product, but then the manufacturer decided to make Exlantix a separate “premium brand of electric cars.”

As Kolesa.ru reported earlier, the first-born of the new brand on the Russian market will be the Exlantix ES, a sedan with a coupe-like silhouette. Let us remind you that this model is based on the new E0X platform. It is known that in the Middle Kingdom this four-door is equipped by default with air suspension and a fully controlled chassis. The overall length of the four-door on the domestic market is 4945 mm, width – 1978 mm, height – 1467 mm, and the distance between the axles is 3000 mm.

In the Russian Federation, Exlantix ES will be offered with a traction battery with a capacity of 82 kWh. Judging by the local official website of the brand, the range on one charge is 530 km (the manufacturer did not specify which cycle the calculation was based on). The model will be offered with a dual-engine power plant, its total output is 480 hp, and the maximum torque is 660 Nm. This four-door accelerates from zero to “hundreds” in 3.7 seconds.
Now the local office of the premium brand Exlantix has officially announced the second model for the Russian market: its role will be played by a large crossover, which received the letter index ET. It is also based on the E0X “trolley”. The overall length of the crossover is 4955 mm, width – 1975 mm, and height – 1698 mm; the distance between the axles is 3000 mm (same as the sedan).

So far, there is no information about the Exlantix ET technology in the Russian specification. Let us remind you that in China this model, which entered the market in May of this year, is offered in hybrid and all-electric versions. In the first case, the crossover is equipped with a plug-in hybrid installation with a 400-volt electrical architecture and one traction 265-horsepower electric motor located on the rear axle (maximum torque – 324 Nm). At the front is a 1.5-liter petrol turbo engine producing 156 hp. (220 Nm). The capacity of the traction battery is 32 kWh, the range when driving without an internal combustion engine is 200 km (according to the CLTC cycle), and in hybrid mode the range is 1518 km. This SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds, and its top speed is 180 km/h.
The model is also available in fully electric versions (with 800-volt architecture). There are versions with one 313-horsepower electric motor located on the rear axle (425 Nm), and with either a 77 or 100 kWh battery. The power reserve is 625 and 760 km, respectively, and acceleration to “hundreds” is 6.6 and 6.4 seconds, respectively. The maximum speed is the same and equal to 200 km/h.
The Exlantix ET all-wheel drive system includes a “junior” battery and a front electric motor with a power of 167 hp. (238 Nm) and 313-horsepower rear (425 Nm); total output is 480 hp. (663 Nm). This crossover takes 4.7 seconds to reach the first hundred. Range without recharging – 540 km. The top-end Exlantix ET Ultra received a “senior” battery, a 249-horsepower front electric motor (266 Nm) and a 313-horsepower rear motor; total power – 562 hp. (691 Nm). It needs 3.8 seconds for the first “hundred”, the maximum speed for all-wheel drive is the same – 210 km/h. The power reserve on one charge is 655 km.
When exactly the new product will become available for order in the Russian Federation will become known later. For now, the premium brand Exlantix continues to form an official dealer network. The first showrooms of the brand will be opened in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Tyumen and Nizhny Novgorod.
