MOSCOW, July 24 A case against the son of Chronopay founder Pavel Vrublevsky Peter was initiated for extortion, under the article he could face up to 15 years in prison, law enforcement agencies reported .
““He is charged with paragraph “a” of Part 3 of Article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — extortion by an organized group,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
Punishment under this part of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of 7 to 15 years.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs put 19-year-old Pyotr Vrublevsky on the wanted list.
In March 2022, the Meshchansky Court of Moscow arrested Pavel Vrublevsky in a fraud case.
