DONETSK, July 24 Two civilian residents of Gorlovka in the DPR were injured due to shelling of the city by Ukrainian troops, Gorlovka Mayor Ivan Prikhodko said on Wednesday in the Telegram channel .
«As a result of Ukrainian armed aggression, two civilian residents of the Dzerzhinsky district of the Gorlovka urban district were wounded,» he wrote. 
< br />According to the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine, over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the territory of the republic 25 times, firing 68 rounds of ammunition.
Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest populated areas of the DPR; before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka numbered more than 250 thousand people
