Kommersant: ex-head of VSK of the Ministry of Defense Belkov detained
Former head of the Military Construction Company (VSK) of the Russian Ministry of Defense Andrei Belkov was detained in Moscow, writes Kommersant (Kommersant).
The 46-year-old man was invited to the Main Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow, the authors of the publication shared the details. According to the publication, on July 25, investigators will petition the court to impose a preventive measure on the suspect.
The material refers to the fact that he is suspected of abuse of power in the execution of the state defense order (SDO). According to the investigative authorities, Belkov is involved in the purchase of a tomograph at inflated prices — for 121 million rubles.
