
MOSCOW, July 25 More than 60% of Americans are concerned to some extent about the possibility of falsification of the results of the presidential election, which will be held in the United States in November, according to a survey by the sociological company Rasmussen Reports and the analytical center Heartland Institute.
According to the survey, 62% of respondents are concerned to some extent about the reliability of the results of the upcoming elections: 37% said they are highly concerned, a quarter of respondents (25%) are somewhat concerned, and another 20% are slightly concerned. Only 15% of Americans said they are not concerned at all, and another three could not give an unambiguous answer.
The poll was conducted July 9-12 among 2,466 Americans who plan to vote in the election. The margin of error is three percentage points.
US President Joe Biden announced on July 21 that he would not seek a second term. He supported Harris's candidacy. Republican candidate Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that it would be much easier for him to defeat the current US vice president.
The next US presidential election will be held on November 5.
