ST. PETERSBURG, July 25. The court sent a man who tried to set fire to a military registration and enlistment office in St. Petersburg for a psychiatric examination to a hospital, the joint press service of the city courts reported on the Telegram channel.
The Primorsky District Court of St. Petersburg considered the investigation's request to place Vasily Gogolev in a hospital for a psychiatric examination, who is suspected of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist attack). He tried to set fire to the military registration and enlistment office on Sizova Street.
«The court granted the investigation's request, placing Gogolev in a medical organization providing psychiatric care in an inpatient setting for an inpatient psychiatric forensic examination for a period of 30 days.» – the message says.

It is noted that the process took place behind closed doors.
