Russian Evgenia Serebryakov, detained in Turkey in the case of an SUV explosion in Moscow, is being prepared for possible extradition to Russia. This is reported by the Turkish agency IHA.
Before being sent to Moscow, Serebryakov underwent medical control in Turkey.
On July 24, a Toyota Land Cruiser jeep exploded in the north of Moscow, as a result of which two people were injured . The driver lost his feet, and the passenger received shrapnel wounds. The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the cause of the explosion was the detonation of an unidentified object, and are considering the version of an assassination attempt related to professional activities.
Serebryakov is accused of two articles — attempted murder and illegal trafficking in weapons. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
