The State Duma today immediately adopted in the second and final reading a bill extending to all bailiffs the right to use physical force, special means and firearms.
Currently the law on bailiffs allows the use of violence only by those who “ensure the established order activities of courts.»
The government, with its amendments introduced at the end of April, proposed introducing “special training” and “periodic inspection at least once a year” for bailiffs.
In the law on bailiffs described the conditions for the use of violence. This is possible, among other things, to repel an attack on the court or participants in the trial, for the forced bringing of a person, to suppress crimes and offenses, as well as in the event of resistance to the bailiff himself or escape from custody.
They were decided add “neutralization of an animal that threatens human life.”
