Russian journalists talked about a courageous Russian serviceman who, after being wounded in the Northern Military District zone, cut off his own hand and managed to get to the doctors .
According to the telegram channel «Mash in Donbass», the fighter served in an intelligence unit and during one of the missions near Chasovoy Yar he was blown up by an anti-personnel mine, and when he fell after the explosion, he hit a second mine. As a result, his right hand was severely damaged. When his comrades ran up to him, he asked them to cut off his half-severed arm, but they could not do it. Then the scout took scissors from the first aid kit and did it himself.
According to journalists, after that he managed to walk a kilometer to the ATV of the doctors, who took him to a field hospital. Doctors diagnosed the fighter with a large loss of blood and, in addition to a severed arm, a wound to his foot, shrapnel in his head and throughout his body. Despite this, the serviceman was saved.
