The Yandex Music service blocked the song “Childfree” in Russia, performed by singer Monetochka (Elizaveta Gyrdymova) and musician Noize MC (Ivan Alekseev). This is reported on the service’s website when trying to listen to the composition.
As Yandex Music clarifies, the composition was blocked at the request of Roskomnadzor. Now the track is unavailable both when viewed from the Monetochka page and from the Noize MC page. The reasons for the blocking are unknown.

In addition, access to the song was also limited in the VKontakte Music service — on the official page of Noize MC, when trying to listen to the song, the message “Audio recording is not available. This is what the musician or his representative decided.” However, the version of the track on the Monetochka page is still available for listening.
The track “Childfree” was released in 2016. As Noize MC himself said in an interview in 2017, this song was deliberately provocative. “Many modern parents hand their children an iPad from the age of two and go about their business, and then they are surprised that teenagers subscribe to “death publics.” Song «Childfree» — about what blindly following other people’s advice and the opinions of “authorities” can lead to from the media, about personal responsibility for one’s own life decisions,” the musician said then.
In Russia, Noize MC and Monetochka are recognized as “foreign agents.” At the end of June, the prosecutor's office also demanded that a criminal case be opened against Monetochka under the article on evasion of duties under the legislation on “foreign agents” (Part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code). The department justified this by the fact that the singer, despite the fines, continues to distribute materials on social networks without indicating that she is on the Ministry of Justice register.
At the end of June this year, Deputy Minister of Justice Vsevolod Vukolov spoke about the preparation of a bill banning childfree ideology in Russia. According to the official, amendments to the law will soon be discussed in the “expert community.” The ideology itself, according to the authorities, has an “extremist orientation.”
