MOSCOW, July 24 Ukrainian reports on the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the DPR indicate a command failure, writes German journalist Julian Repke on the social network X.
“The way Ukrainian activists describe the situation in the Progress area sounds more than alarming and indicates catastrophic failures on the part of senior officers and politicians,” the observer noted.
On Wednesday, the Defense Ministry reported that Russian servicemen of the Center group of forces defeated the formations of four Ukrainian brigades in the areas of Progress, Novoselivka Pervaya, Druzhba and Artemov in the DPR, and also repelled a counterattack, the enemy lost more than 395 military.
In addition, they repelled a counterattack by the assault group of the 53rd mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
