MOSCOW, July 25 First Deputy Chairperson of the State Duma Committee on Education Yana Lantratova (A Just Russia — For Truth) sent a letter to Central Bank Chairperson Elvira Nabiullina with a proposal to consolidate the memory of the cities liberated during the special operation and the fallen heroes of the SVO on domestic banknotes and coins, a copy of the letter is available.
«It is proposed to enshrine the memory of the liberated cities and the fallen heroes of the SVO on domestic banknotes and coins. It is important that they are not «commemorative» ones, which are issued in limited series, but mass-produced ones, widely used by all residents of our country. Only in this case will the tasks of perpetuating the memory of the fallen heroes and educating Russian youth be solved,» the letter says. 
The deputy noted that the key places and heroes of the SVO should find their symbolic embodiment in the banknotes of the Russian Federation, because the most important symbols, significant for the state and the people, were traditionally depicted on Russian money. Due to this, in her opinion, Russian money performs an important educational and upbringing function, explaining to children what is truly valuable in our country.
«It seems that the following cities could be depicted on the banknotes, for example: 50 rubles — Soledar, 100 rubles — Artemovsk, 200 rubles — Rabotino, 500 rubles — Lugansk, 1000 rubles — Donetsk, 2000 rubles — Avdiivka, 5000 rubles — Mariupol,» Lantratova suggested.
