The Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander criticized the Ukrainian generals over heavy losses near the village of Progress
The commander of the 47th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Shirshin, in an interview with the publication hromadske said that due to the strict orders of the generals, the Ukrainian military suffered «certain» losses in the area of the village of Progress in the DPR.

«Because of such orders, we suffered certain losses that could have otherwise been avoided,» Shirshin noted.
The battalion commander clarified that the village of Progress, which is located west of the village of Ocheretino, had to be simply «given up» and retreat to other lines.
«At some point, we found ourselves almost surrounded, on almost all sides,» the Ukrainian military man added.
