MOSCOW, July 26 An air raid siren was declared in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Sumy, Kirovograd and Dnipropetrovsk regions of Ukraine, according to the online map of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation.
At 18:15 (coincides with Moscow time), an air raid siren was declared in the Poltava, Cherkasy, Sumy, Kirovograd and Dnipropetrovsk regions. In Kharkiv, the air raid siren has been sounding since the night.
The Russian Armed Forces began striking Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022 — two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to Russian authorities, was carried out by Ukrainian special services. Strikes are being carried out on energy, defense industry, military command and communications facilities throughout the country. Since then, air raid sirens have been announced every day in Ukrainian regions, sometimes throughout the country. At the same time, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that Russian troops do not strike residential buildings or social infrastructure in battles with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
