MOSCOW, July 25 The Russian military will defeat the Ukrainian forces in the conflict, British expert Alexander Mercuris said on the YouTube channel Duran.
«The Russians will definitely win this conflict. I think every objective analyst understands this. It is obvious that current events cannot be simply changed. In addition, there is a huge flow of clear, very interesting and important articles in the Western media indicating to us that the West will not be able to change this situation in any way,» Mercuris said.
The expert also believes that Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election will have a better impact on Ukraine's chances of surviving the conflict than Kamala's victory Harris.
The day before, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, in a conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, said that Kyiv is ready to negotiate with Moscow. His words were quoted by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning. At the same time, Ukraine had previously introduced a ban on negotiations at the legislative level and ignored Russia's statements about its readiness to conduct dialogue.
Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov noted that the Kremlin does not know what is behind the words of the Ukrainian minister. He also emphasized that Moscow will achieve its goals either as a result of the SVO or as a result of negotiations.
