SAMARA, July 27 Firefighters have completely extinguished the fire at the Kuibyshevazot plant in Tolyatti, the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Samara Region told reporters.
Earlier, the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that on Friday at 23:03 Moscow time they received information about a fire on Novozavodskaya Street, 6 in Tolyatti. The department specified that the building houses the Kuibyshevazot plant. The arriving units found that cables and a pump at an outdoor CO2 purification unit were burning over an area of 200 square meters. At 00:35 Moscow time, the open fire was declared extinguished. There were no casualties as a result of the fire. 
«At 03.44 (2.44 Moscow time), the fire was completely extinguished,» the regional headquarters of the Emergencies Ministry said in a statement.
The Kuibyshevazot website states that the chemical company is a leader in Russia and Eastern Europe in the production of caprolactam and polyamide, as well as the largest manufacturer of technical and textile threads, cord fabric, polyamide and blended fabrics in the country. The plant was founded in 1966.
