BUDAPEST, July 27 Russia is under «hyper-rational control», its actions are logical, while the West, on the contrary, is unpredictable and uncontrollable, and its weakening and disintegration is now the biggest problem in the world, said Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, speaking in the Romanian city of Băile Tusnad, broadcast by the M1 TV channel.
«The war has highlighted the fact that the biggest problem in the world is the weakening and disintegration of the West. Of course, the Western press does not claim this, but that the biggest problem in the world is Russia and the threat it poses. This is a fallacy. Russia is too big in relation to population, and is also under hyper-rational control, there is no mystery in what it does, everything logically follows from its interests, so it is understandable and can be counted on,» Orban said.
According to him, the West, on the contrary, is «incomprehensible, unpredictable and ungovernable, and its behavior is irrational,» Europe is unable to cope with the rapid rise of Asia.
Earlier, Orban said that Hungary saw the European Union as a guarantee of its well-being at the beginning of the decade, but it lost its way and fell behind the United States and Asia in the economic race. Earlier, he predicted that by the end of the decade, Great Britain, Italy and France will leave the top ten economies in the world, and Germany will fall from fourth place to tenth. Orban said that Europe is frustrated by the fact that Asia is developing at a faster pace, while recently there has been an increasing number of European countries that advocate cooperation with Asia, rather than disunity.
