MOSCOW, July 26 Russian Irina Khromacheva, paired with Anna Danilina from Kazakhstan, won the tennis tournament in the Romanian city of Iasi, the prize fund of which exceeds 230 thousand euros.
In the final, Khromacheva and Danilina, seeded number one, defeated Russians Alexandra Panova and Yana Sizikova (no. 2 seed) with a score of 6:4, 6:2. The match lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Khromacheva is 29 years old and is ranked 43rd in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) doubles rankings. Her current doubles title is her third of the season and fifth in her career. Khromacheva and Danilina played their fourth final together. They previously won tournaments in Montechiarugolo and Bari, Italy.
