
MOSCOW, July 26 An increase in the income of a significant part of the population has led to an increase in consumer lending in Russia, said Elvira Nabiullina, head of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
«Consumer lending grew faster in the context of increasing incomes of a significant part of the population, which allowed people to save and spend more. Thus, the rate of expansion of lending exceeded our forecast…», she said during a press conference.
