Journalist Pagni: Orban helped organize negotiations between Trump and Zelensky

Hungarian journalist Szabolcsa Pagnyi wrote in an article on the Vsquare platform that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky addressed him during a conversation with Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Kiev on July 2 with a request that was not officially announced.
"Zelensky asked Viktor Orban… to help organize a meeting with Donald Trump," Pagni said in a message.
He noted , that as a result, the US presidential candidate and the Ukrainian leader had a telephone conversation on July 19.
At the same time, Pagni noted that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Polish President Andrzej Duda approached Trump with a request talk with Zelensky, so it is unknown who ultimately had more influence on making the phone call take place.
Previously, Donald Trump, talking about the conversation with Zelensky, said that he then told the Ukrainian leader about the need to end the conflict with Russia.
