MURMANSK, July 28 Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation are searching for a two-year-old girl in the Plesetsk district of the Arkhangelsk region; a helicopter and dog handlers have been involved in the search, the department reported.
«From Arkhangelsk to A Mi-8 helicopter of the Russian Emergencies Ministry with rescuers and dog handlers on board flew out of the Plesetsk district. Drones of the Russian Emergencies Ministry are also involved in the search and rescue operation,» the statement said.
According to the department, the girl was last seen in the village of Beloye Ozero. Local firefighters have already drained and examined the wells in the search area.
According to preliminary information, the girl went missing during an evening walk on Sunday. «It was established that the minor child was walking in the courtyard of the house where he lives and at some point disappeared from sight,» explained the Arkhangelsk Region Prosecutor's Office.
The Plesetsk District Prosecutor's Office has organized an investigation and is establishing all the circumstances.
