MOSCOW, July 27 The Israel Defense Forces said the rocket launch at the Golan Heights came from southern Lebanon.
«According to an analysis of the IDF's operational systems, the missile launch at Majdal Shams was carried out from an area north of the village of Shebaa in southern Lebanon,» the IDF said in a statement published on its Telegram channel.
The statement also noted that, according to Israeli intelligence, the attack was carried out by the Lebanese Hezbollah movement.
The Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah has denied involvement in the shelling of the town of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights.
