UFA, July 29 Law enforcement officers detained two teenagers who brutally beat a nineteen-year-old boy on the Central Square of Izhevsk, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Udmurtia reported on its Telegram channel.
A video of the incident has spread on social networks. The footage shows teenagers beating up a boy on the crowded Central Square of Izhevsk. Adults are passing by and not reacting to what is happening. The police have launched an investigation, and investigative bodies have opened a criminal case on group hooliganism.
«In Izhevsk, police officers have identified the minors who beat up a 19-year-old young man on the Central Square of Izhevsk. They turned out to be a 15-year-old and a 13-year-old resident of the city,» the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
The teenagers were detained by police officers and, accompanied by their legal representatives, taken to the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Udmurt Republic, the department added.
