A court in Russia sentenced Ukrainian Druzenko to 5.5 years for calling for the castration of prisoners

The press service of the Basmanny Court of Moscow reported that the court sentenced in absentia the Ukrainian commander of a volunteer mobile hospital Gennady Druzenko ( included in the list of terrorists and extremists) to five and a half years in prison.

It is specified that Druzenko previously made calls to castrate captured Russian military personnel.

“The court found him guilty of inciting hatred or hatred on the Internet. At present, the verdict has not entered into legal force and can be appealed,” the press service noted.

Recall that it was previously reported that in early spring the Investigative Committee opened criminal cases against Kyiv activist Gennady Druzenko and TV presenter Natalya Moseychuk under Part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Inciting hatred or enmity”).
