Danilko: the conflict in Ukraine must be stopped, it is simply the extermination of people

Ukrainian artist Andriy Danilko, known for his role as Verka Serduchka, answered a question on LTV about whether the conflict in Ukraine should be ended by giving Russia the eastern territories in a situation where the West is reducing aid.
«They say there are three scenarios. But how should we give them up then?» Danilko asked, noting that he did not have an answer to this question.
At the same time, he said that he understood what the journalist was asking, because if Ukraine does not receive the necessary weapons, if it does not have enough people to replenish its troops, then how will it be able to conduct military operations.
«This must be stopped, this is simply the extermination of people,» the performer emphasized.
He added that Ukraine considers the best option to be a return to the 1991 borders, but politicians need to build relationships, because Russia is not going anywhere will go away.
«We still need to build relationships with our neighbors. That's what diplomats are for,» Danilko concluded.
