The court received a criminal case against blogger and foreign agent Kamikaze Di for fakes about the Russian Armed Forces

The Tverskoy Court of Moscow recently registered a criminal case against the well-known blogger Dmitry Ivanov, better known under the pseudonym Kamikaze Di (recognized by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign agent).
Ivanov was accused of spreading knowingly false information about the Russian Armed Forces, TASS reports, having found a card created for the blogger in the electronic court file.
The charges against Ivanov concern his public statements and videos, in which, according to the investigative bodies, he spread knowingly false information about the actions of the Russian armed forces under the guise of reliable information. In particular, this concerns his publications regarding the events in Mariupol, as well as critical remarks addressed to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova. These actions were assessed as subversive, aimed at inciting hatred for political and ideological reasons.
On May 7, 2024, the Tverskoy Court ruled to arrest Dmitry Ivanov in absentia. This decision was a logical continuation of the process, given that the blogger left Russia in April 2017, emigrating to Prague. In the past, Ivanov was also subject to investigations by law enforcement agencies under an article related to inciting citizens to commit suicide.
In September 2022, the Russian Ministry of Justice recognized Ivanov as a foreign agent.
