The former coordinator of Navalny’s headquarters in Tomsk, Ksenia Fadeeva, was taken from IK-9 in the Novosibirsk region. The opposition support group was informed about this by her lawyer, who visited the colony.
According to the lawyer, the administration of IK-9 said that Fadeeva “left” the institution. Representatives of the colony refused to answer questions about where, why and when exactly she was taken. The lawyer sent a written request to the FSIN.
In December 2023, the Soviet District Court of Tomsk sentenced Fadeeva to nine years in a general regime penal colony and a fine of 500 thousand rubles. She was found guilty of organizing the activities of an extremist community using official positionand participation in a non-profit organization that infringes on the personality and rights of citizens. In May of this year, the decision on the case was approved, after which the oppositionist was transferred to IK-9.
The reason for the criminal prosecution of Fadeeva was her work in Navalny's team. In 2020, the former head of Navalny's headquarters also won the elections and became a deputy of the Tomsk City Duma. In June of this year, she was stripped of her powers due to the sentence that came into force.
This morning, it became known that the former head of Navalny's headquarters in Ufa, Lilia Chanysheva, had gone missing. According to the oppositionist's husband, Chanysheva left IK-28 in Berezniki, Perm Krai, a few days ago, where she was supposed to serve her sentence in the case of an extremist community. Where she is now and why she was transferred from the colony is unknown.
